Central Guatapé is compact and best explored on foot. Walking is also how you notice the details in the zócalos instead of treating the town as a sequence of photo stops.
Tuk-tuks / motocarros
Tuk-tuks operate as local point-to-point transport. There is no meter. Tell the driver your destination and agree on the fare before the ride. Prices can vary with distance, demand, waiting and an out-of-town finca.
They are particularly useful between town and La Piedra, with luggage, or for accommodation that is awkward to reach on foot.
Do not treat an old fare table as a tariff
Online numbers can be useful historical examples but should not be presented as a municipal fixed rate unless a current official tariff exists. Ask first, then decide.
