Pack for change, not for a perfect forecast
Guatapé sits in the Antioquia highlands. A normal sightseeing day can move between sun, cloud and rain. A small packable shell is more useful than carrying heavy cold-weather gear.

- Light layer for the ride home or evening
If rain arrives
Rain usually changes the order of the day more than it cancels the destination. Use the town/café portion during a shower, move exposed lake activities when conditions improve, and do not treat a wet staircase as a speed challenge.
Boat and outdoor conditions
Weather on the reservoir matters more than a generic weather-app icon. Follow the boat operator's safety call and avoid pressuring anyone to depart in conditions they consider unsafe.
